Shopify integration

Before you start, ensure you have the right tools ready.

Note: Generating 3D links is an exclusive feature for Solaya Pro subscribers.

• Download the App: Get the Solaya app on your smartphone.
• Subscribe to Pro/Business: Activate your Pro or Business subscription in the app settings to unlock sharing capabilities.
• Scan your Product: Complete your first high-quality scan and wait for the processing to finish.

Every product in your store needs its own unique 3D link to appear in the viewer.

• Open your Model: In the Solaya app, tap on the specific 3D model you want to embed.
• Access Sharing: Look for the "Share" or "Copy Link" icon.
• Copy the URL: Tap to copy the link to your clipboard.

You need our official integration to bridge your scans with your store.

• Download: Click "Install" on the Shopify App Store page.
• Grant Permissions: Accept the terms and install the app to your store.
• Confirm Setup: Ensure the app is visible in your Shopify "Apps" list.

Now, connect your scan to your Shopify product page using the newly created Metafields.

• Open Product Admin: In your Shopify dashboard, go to Products and select the item you want to update.
• Scroll to Metafields: Go to the very bottom of the product page to find the Metafields section.
• Fill in the details:
• Model URL: Paste the link you copied in Step 1.
• Full 360° Rotation: Toggle whether shoppers can spin the model entirely around.
• Initial Camera Angle: Set the specific view customers see first.
• Save: Hit the "Save" button at the top of the page.

This is a one-time setup to make the 3D viewer visible on your storefront.

• Open Theme Editor: Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize.
• Select Product Page: Use the dropdown menu at the top to select Products, then choose the template you want to integrate the viewer into.
• Add Block: In the left sidebar, under the "Product Information" section, click Add block.
• Select Solaya Viewer: Choose the Solaya 3D Viewer block from the list.
• Drag & Save: Move the block to your preferred position (e.g., above the description) and click Save.
